The first season of Grey’s Anatomy premiered March 27, 2005 and is currently in its sixth season. When the season started, everyone was thinking that it was going to be just another hospital drama, but it ended up being one of the most addicting TV series. There were no big stars and no hype. It came out as a mid season replacement and quickly became a hit. Grey’s Anatomy follows five surgical interns at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital.Katherine Heigl plays an ex-model, T.R. Knight plays George a good guy who just doesn’t do it right, Sandra Oh plays the competitive Christina who wants to become the best, Justin Chabers plays Alex- a womanizer, and Ellen Pompeo plays Meredith Grey who lives in the shadow of her mother’s great success.
